i get error when resize column width

Dear Syncfusion.

i use datagrid with localization 
when i resize column width, i got this error : 

System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.

   at System.Number.ThrowOverflowOrFormatException(ParsingStatus status, TypeCode type)

   at System.Convert.ToDouble(String value)

   at Syncfusion.Blazor.Grids.Internal.WidthController`1.GetWidth(GridColumn column)


i am using Synfusion last version :19.2.0.56 with Persian localization ().
Could you please help with this issue, Thank you very much.

We have validated and considered the reported problem as a bug and logged the defect report “Exception throws on resizing the columns in grid when system language is other than English” for the same. Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping us improve our product. At Syncfusion, we are committed to fixing all validated defects (subject to technological feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle ) and including the fix by the mid of September 2021. Sorry for the inconvenience. 
   
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to include the fix “Exception throws on resizing the columns in grid when system language is other than English” in our patch release as promised. This will be included in our upcoming patch release which is expected to be rolled out by the mid of October 2021. Until then we appreciate your patience.

We are glad to announce that our weekly patch release (v19.3.0.45) has been rolled out successfully and in this release, we have included the fix for the issue “Exception throws on resizing the columns in grid when system language is other than English”. So kindly update your NuGet (Syncfusion.Blazor) to our latest version to resolve the reported issue.

Dear Team,


I followed what you said.


My issue  :  Exception throws on resizing the columns in grid when system language is other than English”.

I installed  Syncfusion.Blazor -Version 27.2.5 my issue resolved but I lost IsFrozen functionality which I was using in earlier version.

Kindly help to fix both resizing as well it should allow me to use IsFrozen also.

Before proceeding further kindly share us the below details from your end.


  1. Share us the entire Grid code snippet.
  2. Kindly check and share us whether you have faced any console errors at your end while performing resizing.
  3. Ensure to upgrade both scripts and styles to latest version and check the reported issue.
  4. Share us the video demonstration of the reported behavior.
  5. Share us the current localization culture used at your end.
  6. If possible share us the simple issue replicating sample at your end.


The above requested detail will be very helpful for us to validate the reported issue at our end.
