Batch Editing and Checkbox selection

Question

Hi there

I want to have a grid with checkboxes for the selection but I want to perform the batch edition as well, I am looking that it works but when I select a row with the checkbox and later I double click it to start editing, the checkbox gets unchecked, I tried with Persist selection but it seems is not woking.

We have analyzed your query and we understand that you want to use same checkbox for batch editing as well as selection. Currently we do not have support to achieve this requirement. We are validating the feasibilities of achieving this requirement in alternative way. We need some more time to analyze the requirement. As informed earlier, we do not have direct support to achieve your requirement. So, we have planned to implement your requirement in a custom way. But we need some more time to analyze and implement the requirement in custom solution. We will get back to you with a custom sample by (9th August 2021).

We have considered your requirement as a feature at our end and we logged “Need to provide Field property support for CheckBox column ” as feature to our feature table. Thank you for requesting this feature and helping us define it.  We are always trying to make our products better and feature requests like yours are a key part of our product growth efforts. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. It will be implemented in any of our upcoming releases.

Till then we tried to provide the workaround solution for your requirement. But after validating this requirement with current architecture, we found that workaround also not possible. So we request you to wait till the above feature has been implemented and rolled out successfully.
