Taskbar Tooltip Appears on the Left-most side of the screen

Hi,

I am currently encountering an issue where the custom tooltip of a Gantt chart taskbar appears on the left-most side of the screen, almost disappearing from view. Below is a screenshot of the said scenario.



What is happening above is that I am hovering my mouse over the Proxy Statement task/event on the first row. Notice the Start Date. I think the tooltip is anchored to the Start Date value that's why the tooltip is found on the left most side of the screen. Is there an immediate fix for this where we can situate the custom tooltip within the borders of the chart?

We have analyzed the issue you reported. However, we were unable to replicate the issue you reported. We created a template tooltip for the taskbar as you said and checked, however, the tooltip rendered in its correct position and not in the left of the Gantt Chart as you said. Please find the sample we used to validate your issue below. 
 
 
If possible, please modify the sample to replicate your issue or share an issue reproducible sample of your own.

Hi Monisha,


I was able to replicate my scenario using the code that you have provided. I tinkered with the dates a bit to reflect  that date range that is similar to what I initially posted. Here's a screenshot on what I'm currently experiencing.




Notice the tooltip being outside the general area of the chart. Similar to my initial post, the tooltip looks like it is anchored on the start date and that's why the tooltip appears outside the boundaries of the chart or the Gantt chart itself.

I am attaching the modified Index.razor file I used to replicate this issue.

Please refrain from modifying the Gantt chart settings in order to resolve the issue since I need the settings to be exactly similar to the one in the modified file since that is the one that we are currently using and it really works for our use.

Hope this gets fixed as soon as possible as this is a hypercritical UI issue we are experiencing. Some of the tooltips we have disappear from the page based on the scenario that I have previously described.

We have confirmed your issue as a bug and have logged a bug report for it. You can track its status from the below feedback link. 
 
 
The fix will be provided in the patch release scheduled after the 2021 Volume 1 SP release scheduled for the month of August, 2021.
