The actionBegin event is not fired when the Save button is pressed

Question

I want to check the validity of the information fields when I press save (or disable the save button if the value is not valid). If the information is not valid, the save button will not work. Can you help me?

Based on your shared code example  we can understand you are using reactive forms in Dialog mode editing using editTemplate. We have prepared a simple sample based on your shared code but we are unable to replicate the issue at our end. Please refer the below sample for your reference.

Share the screenshot or video demo of the issue
Share the console error  while clicking the save button if any
