SfRating control disappears in UI in iPad devices and iPad simulators

Hi,

I have a ContentView that is able to select and display one Content  at a time among various other contents in my ContentPage using DataTrigger and a property from ViewModel to decide which content to display. I am using SfRating control to display some rating stars and rating smiley faces in different contents. When I switch between different contents and if I visit back any content that has SfRating, then the rating control disappears.

I have created a minimal sample reproducing this issue that includes

two contents in a contentview switched using DataTrigger:

each of the contents has SfRating in it. If I switch to other content and switch back to first content then the rating control will disappear.


Reproduction Steps:

Step 1: Run the app

Step 2: Change the rating of stars (optional) then click on Switch Content toolbar button

Step 3: Now it displays rating smiley faces. change the rating to any smiley face (optional) and click again on Switch Content  toolbar button

Step 4: Now ContentView is switched back to previous content but Star Rating control is not visible on screen

Step 5 : If we again click on  Switch Content  toolbar button, it will switch content but Smiley Rating control is not visible on the screen.


Note: I have not tested this issue on Android devices or iPhones since my app is just targeting iPad devices alone at the moment


Please provide a fix to this at the earliest as I have planned a customer release of my app for next week.

We have validated your query and we are able to reproduce the reported issue in iOS platform. We have already logged a defect report for this. You can track the status of the bug from the below link.

Regarding Patch:

We have fixed the reported issue in iOS and please find the custom assemblies from below link.

Assembly Version: 19.1.0.69

Since 19.1.0.69 is a weekly NuGet release, we are not able to generate patch in 19.1.0.69 version. We can generate patch only for Main release and SP1 release versions, so we have provided the custom assembly in 19.1.0.69.
