ShapeType 15 not found

Hi,

I am getting a System.InvalidOperationException ShapeType 15 not found when trying to load a particular shapefile set. The code works fine on other shapefiles. The data is from the Australian government Federal electoral boundary GIS data for free download - Australian Electoral Commission (aec.gov.au) and is attached.

Do you know what the 'ShapeType 15' error could be? I have attached the zip file for you to see if it works in a simple control.

Greetings from Syncfusion.

We have checked the .shp file from your shared attachment and it has unsupported ShapeType, hence it is throwing an exception.

Now, we have generated .shp file from https://mapshaper.org/  by using provided .shp file and generated file is working fine with SfMaps UWP control.
