Trying to run the sample_browser Demo, i get 'MouseTrackerAnnotation' not found. and the app doesn't launch

Hi,

I have the last version of android studio, all plugins are up to date. I opened the Samplebrowser 19.1.0.54 for flutter.

When running the app i get many error message, that are not relly explicit... please find the first one :

/C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Syncfusion/Essential%20Studio/Flutter/19.1.0.54/Packages/flutter_maps/lib/src/layer/shape_layer.dart:3368:16: Error: Type 'MouseTrackerAnnotation' not found.

    implements MouseTrackerAnnotation { etc......

               ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I need help.

Hi Stephane,

 

We have checked the maps package with 19.1.0.54 version along with latest Flutter SDK. We are not facing any compilation issue and application is deployed properly. Please find the testing details.

Tested Channels and platforms: 

• Stable – 2.2.1 
• Beta – 2.2.0 
• Master – 2.3.0-17.0.pre.180 
• Android and Web 

 

If you're still having issues, please provide information about the channel and platform on which you're running the app.

Hi Lakshmi,

I tried to remove the 19.1.0.54, and replaced it with the 19.1.0.63. And now when loading the SampleBrowser flutter app, i get an error message :

Could not find a file named "pubspec.yaml" in "C:\Users\stephane\AppData\Local\Pub\Cache\hosted\pub.dartlang.org\desktop_window-0.4.0".

pub get failed (66; Could not find a file named "pubspec.yaml" in "C:\Users\stephane\AppData\Local\Pub\Cache\hosted\pub.dartlang.org\desktop_window-0.4.0".)

All elements in flutter doctor are ok, i use :

• [√] Flutter (Channel stable, 2.2.2, on Microsoft Windows [version 10.0.19043.1055], locale fr-FR)
• Dart SDK version: 2.13.3 (stable) (Wed Jun 9 12:44:44 2021 +0200) on "windows_x64"

• Android Studio 4.2.1

I tried different channels : Android, Windows, web, it was the same

I don't know what to do to make it work, thank's for your help.

Hi Stephane, 

We would like to inform you that, previously we have faced this mouse tracker annotation compilation issue in our source when Flutter released beta version called 2.2.2-10.1.pre.

 

In the above Flutter version, they have moved the MouseTrackerAnnotation class from the rendering package to the services package. Due to this reason, a compilation issue faced in our source. But we have fixed those compilation issue and included the fix in this release version (19.1.58-beta). 

However, we have again confirmed with the mentioned version (19.1.0.63) with latest SDK version (2.2.2) in stable channel and checked by changing locale like fr, fa. But not facing any issues at our end.

So, we suspect that you may have cache issues in your side. Could you please clear the cache and confirm it again? Also kindly provide the complete stack track details if you still facing issues.
