Exporting GridDataBoundGrid(Classic) to delimited text file

Question

Hi Community,

Is there a way to sufficiently export a GridDataBoundGrid(Classic) to a delimited text file. the delimter can either be a tab, comma or semi colon I have exported to a excel file and then converted it to a text file but this process is long and i think exporting to excel isn't needed but im not sure if you can convert directly to a text file. Any help would be much appreciated !

As like GridDataBoundGrid, the reported requirement can be achieved by copying the grid to the clipboard and then loading the data into a text file format. We have checked your query “Is there a way to sufficiently export a GridDataBoundGrid(Classic) to a delimited text file” at our end. We regret to know that as per the implementation of GridDataBoundGrid don’t have the direct support to export the GridDataBoundGrid to text format file. However this can be achieved by copying the grid to the clipboard and then loading the data into a text file format. You can refer the following sample to achieve your scenario.
