In 2.0, there must be a valid license.licx present in the project on the development system during the compile of your application. In earlier versions of our libraries, this was not the case. Here is a KB link discussing this issue.

If you are using an eval version, you will not be able to deploy any applications you build using our libraries unless the target machine also has our evel installed.

yes we''ve already got the licences.licx file, but it throws that error, but not all of the time,
we seem to able to get things working some of the time...

ah it seems that it didn''t have all the entries in it ....
you may want to reconsider this policy as I think all it does is make end users annoyed and is clearly not foolproof....:-(
