Skip missing data

Hi,

I am trying to plot records on a candlestick chart. 

However as I only have a handful of records each day I would like to not see hourly gaps between data. 

For example, I have hourly data from 9 am until 4 pm each day. I do not want to show hours with no records leaving gaps between 4 pm until 9 am the next day. I would like to show continuous data so 9 am looks as though it is one hour after 4 pm the previous day.
