Initial View Load Does Not Return Records

Good afternoon!  I have been struggling with the initial return of records to populate my grid on load.  I cannot determine what I am doing incorrectly.  When returning the data via a ViewBag, it works fine but I cannot manipulate the information once filtered (selected).  I have attached two images showing my front and server side code.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
Doug Riley

Manivel,
Thank you for your response!  I added the actionFailure event to the grid control and did not receive a response.  It appears the grid is just not rendering at all.  I will try to put the ViewBag variable back just to see if that still works as before.  Should there be something in the loading method to fire off the GetCustomers method in order to populate the grid?  The controller name is 'Maintain.'  The populating method/event is 'GetCustomers.'

Thank you!
Doug

Hi Doug,

Thanks for your update.

In the last update you have mentioned that the controller name as “Maintain”. But in the screenshot of the front end code we could see that you have mentioned the controller name as “Customers”. Could you please ensure that in your sample. Also please share the screenshot of you are facing any error in developer tools(browser console).

Good afternoon!  I was able to get the grid operating with the URL Adaptor setting.  I backed out all the property settings and started adding them back one by one.  My current control is set as the following:

I will work on the process of how to properly save a grid record via a dialog form.  Thank you so much for your help!

Hi Doug,

Thanks for your update.

We are happy that you have got the Grid working. You can map The CRUD operation in grid can be mapped to server-side Controller actions using the properties InsertUrl, RemoveUrl, UpdateUrl.
We have already discussed about this in our documentation section. Please refer the below documentation link for more information.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.
