Need to show short name in grouped list view

I am using grouped list view control for showing list, but need to show sort names to jump on list view items.
Can you please suggest how to show short names

This solution is working perfectly fine for the English language but for Chinese it is not getting displayed.
Can you please check for another language other than English?
