Convert a PDF Page or Annotation into an Image

Hey, 

I am planning on using PDF viewer in Flutter . 

My requirements are :- 

1 . Convert each Page in a PDF into a Jpeg Image 

2. If I draw a Rectangle Annotation inside a Page, Can I convert the part inside the annotation into an Image. 

for my project 1 is a requirement and 2 is a good to have. 

Will be grateful if you let me know if PDF widget in Flutter currently support the above.

Regarding “Convert each Page in a PDF into a Jpeg Image”: 

               Currently, we don’t have support for convert or extract images from PDF. We are analyzing on this and will update the validation details by 13 April 2021. 

 

Regarding “If I draw a Rectangle Annotation inside a Page, Can I convert the part inside the annotation into an Image”: 

               Could you please confirm us whether the annotation added in a PDF page must be preserved in the extracted image ? If this is not your requirement, kindly share us your complete scenario which will be helpful for us to provide you the prompt solution at the earliest.

Currently, Syncfusion Flutter PDF doesn’t provide support to convert PDF pages to images. We do not have any immediate plans to implement this feature. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. We will let you know once this feature is implemented. The status of this feature can be tracked using following link.
