unable to trace toolbox in VS 2019

Hi,

I followed multiple suggestions spread across the community support system and the different KB on the matter.

The following have been attempted:

  1. Install toolbox from Syncfusion Add-Ins from its dashboard. -> It shows all .net frameworks and VS verisons greyed out.
  2. Deleted the .tbd files from the utilities/toolbar folder other than toolbar.tbd
  3. Check the Extensions Menu -> Syncfusion does not show up
  4. Manually selected the syncfusion .net items from the toolbar>Choose items method. -> It gives some error of framework incompatibility
  5. If option to see all items under toolbar is used, the syncfusion folder made by me shows up, with all items greyed out.
I am attaching the logs file, for your reference, please help me install the toolbar, so I may use the controls

Thanks a ton, in advance

Regards

Hi Ashutosh,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

We suspect that you’ve installed Visual Studio 2019 after Syncfusion Windows Forms installer installed.

Could you please follow the steps given below to resolve the issue?

  1. Open Syncfusion Window Forms control Panel from Start Menu.

  1. Click ‘Recheck’ button from right down of the Syncfusion control panel and restart the Syncfusion control panel.

Refer this documentation for more details

  1. Follow the documentation given below for Toolbox configuration

  1. Now open Visual Studio 2019 Toolbox and Syncfusion Toolbox controls will be configured

If you still facing the same problem, Kindly follow the steps suggested in the below KB article link and send us the zip file which consists of Syncfusion Installer logs generated by our tool. It would be much helpful for us to check the reported Toolbox configuration issue,

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I un-installed VS-2019, un-installed Syncfusion.

Then installed VS-2019 and Syncfusion , in that sequence.

On the first startup-sequence, I saw the Syncfusion controls in VS-2019 and the Syncfusion option under 'extensions'

On a subsequent startup, the controls disppeared. On selecting "show all" in the toolbox, the controls all appear as blank.

I have attempted the following till now:

  1. Using the Recheck option of syncfusion control panel
  2. Tool Bar Installation / Reconfiguration. Both from the syncfusion control panel and also from inside VS.
  3. Setup multiple framework option and installed tollbar for other frameworks
  4. Attempted to load up the toolbox by manually selecting all syncfusion components.
All Demos give an error suggesting that the controls are not installed.

All process listed above, run without error and state that action has been completed sucessfully, but the controls still donot show up.

I am attaching the gathered log file.

Thanks

It also appears that the demos for C# work and the controls show up if a syncfusion project is taken up for C3 only.

Infact, there is no option to start a vb syncfusion project. ??
