Highlighting Recursive Bars

Hi ,

I think Blazor is missing the recursive selection. It should highlights all those bars that have similar data. If I make any selection , the relevant bars having same data should be highlighted. But the functionality is not there.

See attached document.

Hi Shan,

We will consider the reported scenario. But we have few queries on your requirement. The recursive selection will be suitable for single chart series. Can you please confirm whether there is any requirement of using recursive selection for multiple series in the chart? If so kindly revert us with the expected behavior for multiple series which will be helpful for further investigation on the feature. We already have some selection support for multiple series. We need to ensure your requirement does affect our existing behavior. Please find the demo sample link for the various selection mode with multiple series.

Thanks for your help.

I just need recursive highlights in Single Series.

The sample you attached is for multiple series. I believe it is working fine. but my problem is with single series have recursive values.

For instance, I have a task that is due in first week of January. the same task is due in the first week of April, July and Oct. Now, If I select any of the bar having this task it should highlight all the other bars.

Suggestion. you already have a feature of on load highlighting of bar. so here instead of one value you can also allow to highlight n values base on bar indices...

Make Sense?
