ej:treemap CSS Rules & Missing Properties

Can you advise how we cab change the background color of the Essentials JS 1 ASP.NET Web Forms treemap control. I cannot see any CSS rules defining this control.

Also all the demos (Essential Studio for ASP.NET : TreeMap - Customization Demo (syncfusion.com)) seem to have properties that the current version (18.4.0.39) do not have. This is relevant when it comes to color mapping. Can you advice why this is?

Hi Mike,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

We are not able to reproduce the reported issue. We can set the color for the TreeMap items using the "color" property in the "TreeMapUniColorMapping" class. We can set the background color for the TreeMap control using the "BackgroundColor" property. We have created a simple ASP.NET Webforms application to demonstrate the same and it can be downloaded from the following link.

Thanks for demo code.

I'm getting an unsupported warning when viewing code (see image). I get this in my code also when trying to add properties to treemap control

Thank you for your update.

When we checked your code and we came to know that you are using tag name in small letters. We need to use the tag name "TreeMapUniColorMapping" in capital letters. So, it throws a warning when viewing the code. Please find the below code snippet for your reference.

I cannot understand why I'm not seeing all the properties. Your updated sample still shows warnings.

Visual Studio 2019 Community Edition v16.8.6

Demo application renders fine and launches without any issues.

Interesting thing. If we add chart to a page we get the same issue. Lots of warnings but chart renders correctly.

Warning in treemap 
We have confirmed the reported issue as a defect and logged a defect report for the same. However, we will include the fix for the reported issue in our upcoming weekly patch release which is expected to be available by the end of March 2021.
