PdfGrid: How to add page manually

Hi,

I am reading a DataTable with time records like this:
Date, User, Customer, Project, Activity, Hours, Amount, Description

The data are ordered by Customer, Project, Date.
With this data I create a PDF with PdfGrid, Headers on each page, pagination on the footer ...

So far it works fine.

Now I want to create a new page when customer changes with sums of hours and amount on the bottom of the PdfGrid..

But I don't know how to bring the PdfGrid with the new customer data on the new page.

  • New customer data will be in a separate table or another row of the same table?
  • Please explain or share details about this “customer changes with sums of hours and amount on the bottom of the PdfGrid” 
  • Expected screenshot of your requirement.

Hi Gowthamraj,

thanks for your answer. I've attached a PDF as it will be created at the moment.
I fill the whole data from mysql table to DataTable. 
The third column with header Kunde is the customer column. 
The 8th column "Menge" contains the quantity, the 9th column "Betrag" the amount.
I want to have the rows for one customer on one page of the PDF with sums of quantity and amount below the rows.
It don't have to be on the footer.
So on the first page there would be 6 records with customer "brax", on the second page 5 records with customer "lerros" and so on.

Thank you for your patience. 
 
At present, we do not have support to calculate the sum value of the pdf Grid cells automatically. As a workaround, we can achieve this as manually by iterating the grid cell in a loop and sum the value based on the customer column “Kunde. Currently, we are working this sample creation to achieve your exact requirement on our end and we will update the sample on March 10th 2021.

thanks for the information. 
I didn't want that you have so much work with my request.
The main topic of my question is the overflow of PDFGrid depending of the data. In my example I want to bring the data of each customer to a new page. I can do the calculation of the sum value with the DataTable. Another workaround could be to have a new PDF for each customer.

As promised earlier in our update, as a workaround we will achieve your requirement manually by iterating the grid cell in a loop and create the table for the each customer with sum the value based on the customer column “Kunde” and update the sample by March 10, 2021.
