Fips Exception at the moment to init a Edit Control

Question

Hi All...I am having a exception in the initialize component method on a edit control...The exception is related to fips "This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms"...Is there any solution to fix this exception? Fips should be enabled.

We have checked your reported query” Fips Exception at the moment to init a Edit Control” and we would like to let you know that disable the EditControl MD5 algorithm by setting the EnableMD5 property to false before enabling FIPS.

Hi Elakkiya,Thanks for answering, something that I missed to mention is that the version of syncfrom that I am using is version. 8.203.0.18.So on that version I do not have that property...Is there any workaround to fix the issue? without that property?Regards,Bruce Alay

Sorry for the inconvenience. 
 
In couple of weeks, we are moving to the release version 19.1. It’s a huge difference between 8.203.0.18 and 19.1. It is having the rich set of features and improved the performance than 8.203.0.18 version. So, it is not possible to provide a patch or workaround. So, we have requested you to upgrade to the latest version of EditControl.
