Make possible to use Angular Component as target attribute of ejs-dialog component

In current version of Angular components that we use (17.4.0.55), target attribute of the ejs-dialog component must be either of type string (HTML id attribute of target element) or HTMLElement. 
It would be very convenient to instead be able to use Component as the target. 
Can it be added, or maybe it is added in some next version?

We have validated your query “To use the component as the target property in the dialog. Can it be added or maybe it is added in some next version”. 
 
Currently, the component cannot be set as the target in the dialog. Also, this is not feasible in the dialog component.
