Rendering issues scrolling in Scheduler Timelineview with grouped resources

Hi,

We have a lot of rendering issues when scrolling in the scheduler (timeline view with grouped resources).
Our Angular version is: 11.2.0 (the latest Angular version), but we had these issues also in Angular 10.
I can see that there are changes made to try to solve these issues in past releases. That is why I did not mentioned this earlier, because I knew you are working on it.
However with the latest 18.4.42 things are getting worse for us....
We use virtual scrolling, but setting this to true or false does not help to get this better.
Version 18.4.42: When the user scrolls down or up there is very often a loading indicator and the earlier problem that resource and calendar event are not aligned ok is still there.
Version 18.3.51: When the user scrolls down or up the resources and their calendar events are always having trouble staying aligned. However the loading indicator is shown less often as in version 18.4.42.
I have added desktop movies, both for Syncfusion Scheduler package 18.3.51 and Scheduler package 18.4.42 so you can see the behaviour.

I hope this issue can be fixed because our users have to deal with this issue every day.
If you need any extra information let mw know.

Kind regards,

Bob Fiering

Hi Bob,

Greetings from Syncfusion support.

Also, thanks for providing clear details about your issue.

Yes, we have improved the virtual scrolling feature by resolving whitespaces and events loading time with 18.4.35 version release. We are rendering the events on scroll stop action instead of each scroll. So, the spinner is displayed more time in our Schedule v18.4.42 compared with the v18.3.51.

We have ensured the problem “Resource and content cell are misaligned” in our end. We could replicate the issue on the scroll-up action and enable auto row height alone in the virtual scrolling. We confirm this as a defect and logged the bug report which can be tracked from the below feedback link. The fix will be included in our weekly patch release which is scheduled on March 2, 2021.

Kindly let us know if you need any further assistance.
