Some documents have formatting issues when opened

Hello,

So, some documents get opened in word just fine, but when I open them within the document editor some formatting issue appear like the one attached.
Also, it sometimes inserts a new blank page which doesn't exist in the word file.

I also have a question, Can I just load the document as a stream and open it inside of the vue.js component instead of having it as sfdt text ?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Regarding: Can I just load the document as a stream and open it inside of the vue.js component instead of      having it as sfdt text?

Opening word documents
For reading the content from Word documents using
EJ2-DocumentEditor-WebServices
and convert it to SFDT.

You can convert the stream to sfdt text and load in document editor front end using back end webservice.

Please find the details from below link:

Hello Kurthis,

Kindly find the attached file.

I actually meant to pass it to the frontend as stream not sfdt text.

Thanks,

Hi Omar,

Regarding:  I open them within the document editor some formatting issue (AND) it sometimes inserts a new blank page which doesn't exist in the word file.

We can reproduce the reported issue. We have already logged the defect report for the reported issue. We will fix this issue and include in our EJ2 patch release which is scheduled on March 3,2021.

For now, we have created custom package for reported issue. Please find the custom nuget package form below link

Kindly extract above and replace ej2-documenteditor folder.

You can track the status of bug through below feedback link:

In browser, we don’t consider stream data. You need to convert and manipulate the readable format using WEB API.
So, with the help of server-side dependency, you have convert the stream to sfdt format. Then using open() method , you can open the sfdt in front end.

Hello Kurthis,

The issue is sort of sorted but obviously I can't render shapes properly.
I think Syncfusion component doesn't support word shapes which is causing some mis-formating.
If supporting simple shapes like rectangles and circles implemented, it'd be really helpful and will prevent formatting issues for loads of documents.

Thanks a lot,
