In dropdown list model value is not visible

Question

In dropdown list  model value is not visible when data is not present in the datasource. We are getting the data in lazy loading. so at the starting time the model value is not displaying.

We checked your query. We would like to inform you that, we will update the value property after the data source has been fetched from the server. Hence the model value not updated at the initial time. So we suggest you to update the value property in  dataBound or actionComplete to get rid of the reported issue.
