Avoid columns in StackingColumn100 ChartSeriesType to be auto sorted when PrimaryXAxis.ValueType = ChartValueType.Category

Hi,

I have a chart with many series added as StackingColumn100.

The X Axis need to have category types.

The categories I have added to the chart are (in order of addition):

* Specialized

* General

* None

And I need the chart to preserve that order.

Nevertheless, the chart is showing the columns (categories) alphabetically ordered:

* General

* None

* Specialized

How do I avoid this sorting?

We have analyzed your query and you can resolve this by setting SortPoints property of ChartSeries to be false. By default, SortPoints becomes true. Please find the code example below. 

 

CodeSnippet: 

 

chartSeries1.SortPoints = false; 

chartSeries2.SortPoints = false; 

chartSeries3.SortPoints = false;
