Having a small part of the DrawerContentView showing even when drawer is closed

Hi,
as the subject states, is there any way to have a small part of the drawer content showing even when the drawer is closed? In other words don't hide the drawer 100% when closed. See the attached picture that shows what I want to accomplish. (Note that I was recommended to use the Backdrop component instead, but I don't think it really matches what I want top accomplish?)

Thanks in advance
//Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

We have validated your query and prepared a sample based on provided information. We have prepared a sample for your reference. Get the sample and screenshot from.

Hello,
thank you for the effort. This is pretty much the exact same solution that I came up with myself when I built my own sample (from which my screenshots came). We have a fake view at the bottom that looks like it is a part of the drawer content but actually is a separate view. Unfortunately this is not "good enough" UI for me since it does not move up when you pull up the actual drawer content.

Is it maybe possible to use the SfBackdrop control instead and have it expand from the bottom instead of the top?

Hi Sebastian,

We have analyzed your requirement and we achieved that with our SfBackdropPage instead NavigationDrawer. Please find the sample from the below location.

Please find the below link for more details about SfBackdropPage.

Hi. Thank you. This works better.
I will spend some more time playing with the sample to see if it fits my needs. I will get back to you if I have any further questions.

Kind regards
