Switch to RangeSelection in code and then back to SingleSelection and can no longer see inline events

I have an sfcalendar displayed in month view defaulting to SelectionMode="SingleSelection". I have HeightRequest=600

Appointments/Events display fine. I have InlineViewMode set to Agenda but the same problem described below occurs with Inline.

I have a toolbar button which, when clicked, in C# code, sets the SelectionMode = SelectionMode.RangeSelection. This works fine and I can select a range. I do not expect event details to appear when in this selection mode and they do not so that is OK. In this mode, the height of the calendar increases beyond 600.

However, when I then set SelectionMode back to SingleSelection event details no longer appear. The Agenda area below the month is no longer there. I have tried calling ClearSelection() and Refresh() methods and this does not solve my issue. The height is still longer than my height request of 600.

The problem occurs on Android and iOS.

Could you provide any guidance please as to what I am doing wrong? I can create and upload a sample if the above description does not help describe the issue.

Thank you.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

Query 1: when dynamically changing the selection mode as Range selection, calendar height increases

Based on the shared information, we have checked your reported issue. We would like to inform you that there are no separate views for the calendar Month view and the AgendaView. The Agnedaview will be disabled and the calendar will be rendered based on the given height request if you change the selection mode as a range selection. It's not an issue. It is an expected behavior of calendar.

Query 2: when I then set SelectionMode back to SingleSelection event details no longer appear

Currently, we are analyzing the mentioned issue. We will validate and update you the further details in two business days (January 21, 2021). We appreciate your patience until then.

Kindly revert us if you have any concern.

Regards,
Muniappan S

Hi Muniappan

Thanks for getting back to me. Issue 1 is a non-issue from my point of view too. I was merely confirming how it was behaving and that I was OK with that.

Regarding issue 2. I have taken your sample code "CreatingEvents" and adapted it to illustrate the issue I am having. Please find this attached.I hope this helps.

Look forward to hearing from you on the 21st Jan!

Thank you.
