Reset the report viewer

I'm wondering how can I reset the report viewer after generating a report.

Hi  Dan Michael, 

We cannot reset the Report Viewer as like your expectation snap and blank viewer render when script not referred properly in application. If you want to destroy the report viewer object then please refer the below document.

Hi Manoranjan,

Thanks for the reply but this is not what I'm looking for because it deletes the entire report viewer. I just want to make the report viewer looks fresh and no report loaded at all when a user change the report type.

e.g.
1. User select Report A
2. Click View Report button
3. Report loaded with data
4. User select Report B
- At this point the report type is B but the report loaded in the report viewer is for report B. This can cause slight confusion and I want to avoid it. I want to display blank report when a user changed the report type.

We are check with requested requirement and we don’t have this option for reset the Report viewer while changing Report. We will check this requirement with our development team and share the details for this on or before 18th January 2021.

Our development team validating your requirement. As of now we don’t have support for render the empty report viewer. We logged this requirement as feature task and it will be available in any of our upcoming Bold Reports release. We created the feedback link for this feature and you can track further in this feedback link. 


We  suggested you to use empty report  for resolve your issue problem.
