Create Chart image (jpeg, png) stream on server-side, no browser involved

Hi,

I need to be able to crate a chart dynamically on the server-side for a REST service image stream response.  I need to create and save the chart image as a stream completely on the server-side.

Is there a way to accomplish this all on the server side.  All examples I can find involve the browser client serving an image after the page is rendered.

Thanks.

Hi Mauro,

We have analyzed your query. From that, we would like to let you know that it is not possible to create chart in server side completely. We have attached our KB documentation to bind the series on the server side. Please find the KB link below.

And also we would like to let you know that we can convert the dataURL to stream only after chart is being rendered. Hence it is not possible to convert the stream before the chart is being rendered. If still this is not your exact requirement. Kindly revert us with more information which will be helpful for further analysis and provide you the solution sooner.

Thank you very much for the clarification.

Is there any other library/component in the Syncfusion toolkit that would allow me to create and render a chart dynamically?  It does not have to be specifically in Web Forms.

Thanks.

Hi Mauro,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

As stated earlier, Unfortunately it is not possible to achieve your requirement of rendering chart completely on server side. Since minimum code required in the client side as shown in the earlier provided KB.

Let us know if you have any concerns.

Srihari
