18.4.30 error rendering map
We previously had a working map. When we upgraded to 18.4 (and made the changes from the release notes https://blazor.syncfusion.com/documentation/release-notes/18.4.30/?type=all#maps ) we started receiving this error:
Microsoft.AspNetCore.Components.WebAssembly.Rendering.WebAssemblyRenderer[100]
Unhandled exception rendering component: System.Net.WebClient is not supported on this platform. Use System.Net.Http.HttpClient instead.
System.PlatformNotSupportedException: System.Net.WebClient is not supported on this platform. Use System.Net.Http.HttpClient instead.

at Syncfusion.Blazor.Maps.SfMaps.OnAfterRenderAsync(Boolean firstRender)

I was able to duplicate this using your demo code in our client blazor app :

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello,

I'm also having trouble with the Map component. Syncfusion version is the latest 18.4.35
In order to debug, I started a fresh project and trying simply to run the demo code on the documentation page: https://blazor.syncfusion.com/documentation/maps/markers/
But it seems I always run in to the following error:
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Sorin

Hi Sorin,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We are able to reproduce the reported issue of "Exception is thrown in the Maps component" in the .NET Core 3.1 application. We are already working on this issue. We will include the fix in our upcoming weekly NuGet release. We suspect your application targets .NET Core 3.1 SDK. However, the Maps component is working fine in the .NET 5.0 application. Please upgrade your application to .NET 5.0 SDK until the fix is available in the NuGet release.

Swetha Babu
