Loading Excel file in another tab

Question

I want to load an excel file which is present on a server. I will download the file from the server using a HTTP request. Now, I want to view this excel file in another tab. How can I do that?

Hi,Thanks for the quick reply! This kind of works but I actually wanted to show the spreadsheet in another window altogether instead of a dialog.The flow can be like - I click on a button which triggers the downloading of the file from the server and then opens the spreadsheet in a different tab.Opening of a new tab for viewing a spreadsheet is what I want to implement. Is this possible?

Thank you for your update. 
 
We have checked your requirement and we would like to let you know that the window.open method accept string type content only, when we open that content in new window. But our components (Spreadsheet) are rendered by HTML with script. So, it’s not possible from component level. The only way to achieve is by passing the spreadsheet sample hosted link, to the window.open method to open that spreadsheet component in the new window.
