Calculated Field - Invalid Formula
Hello

When I create a calculated field I always get "Invalid Formula" error (see below). If I wait then the calculated field is eventually created (because the formula I have typed is indeed correct).
Thank you

Hi Ditchford,
We are unable to reproduce the problem at our end. Please refer the following sample and video.
If still the problem exists, kindly reproduce the problem in the provided sample and revert us (or) send your sample that replicating the problem. This would be a very helpful for us to investigate the reported problem at our end and provide the solution at earliest.
Thanks,
Manikandan.

Hello
Attachment: PivotTable_5049fc21.zip
I have managed to adapt your sample so that the problem is recreated (see attached). If you enter a formula (I used "Sum(Amount)" * 1000) then you will see the error.
FYI, the problem goes away if you remove the EnginePopulating event. There is actually no code in this event in this sample, so this looks to be a bug. I need this event in my actual project.
Thank you

Hello
OK, thank you for letting me know. I look forward to the fix.
Just one point. I spent several hours trying to replicate a sample that failed because Syncfusion at first said that could not replicate. To receive your last response of "This is a known issue" is somewhat frustrating.
Many thanks
