DateTimeCategoryAxis adjust gridLine start

Question

Hi

I recently changed axis from DateTimeAxis to DateTimeCategoryAxis type and realized a bit after is that the gridLine behave differently.

- with DateTimeAxis, the gridLine was nicelly adjusted on each hours (more or less, depending on the time range)

- with DateTimeCategoryAxis, it seem to start on the first point without ajustment

Maybe good to mentionne that the chart is real time and it starts empty each days

The first point is always at 8:50 and after some time we can see grid line with 1hour gap, but always 10min before each hour (ie 8:50 9:50 10:50 11:50...) whihc is not nice visally. (see below)

I would like to have the first line at 9:00 (ideally without touching data) so that It get adjusted to each hour (ie 9:00 10:00 11:00...)

How can achieve that ?

We would like to let you know that DateTimeCategoryAxis is similar that of Category axis and it draws the gridlines only on data point index. This is a default behavior of rendering of DateTimeCategoryAxis. So, your requirement is only achieved by DateTimeAxis.
