How to stack overlapping tasks for the same resource in the Resource View Gantt?

... or there is another control I can use to do so.

Thanks!

Hi Jonathan.

Greetings from Syncfusion.

This update is mainly to understand your use case clearly to proceed this without any misleading.

Whether your requirement is to avoid the overlapping while arranging or dragging the node like you want to arrange the nodes in the same row node column-wise to avoid overlap.

Sridevi S.

Thanks for your reply!

The requirement would be to allow overlap but display them the way shown below for better readability.
If not possible with this control, should I use the Timeline View in WPF Scheduler instead?

Hi Sebastian,

Our EJ2 GanttControl supports overlapping Gantt task bars. You can also view and test this behavior in the demo sample available at the following link: Gantt Chart · Resource Multi Taskbar · Essential JS 2 · Syncfusion

We have attached a video for your reference that demonstrates the behavior. The video shows how the taskbars appear when they overlap and how they are rendered when overlapping is prevented.

Kindly review the video and let us know whether this matches your requirement or if you are expecting a different behavior.

Regards,

Vidyalakshmi M.
