Detection of "hidden" list items

Hello there

We are working with a few views with listviews on them and the total number of listitems is between 12 and 20, so more than half are "hidden" from view until the user scrolls them into view.

We are looking for an MVVM way of indicating to the user that there are more items in the list than they are currently viewing. For example, we may wish to display a down arrow to indicate that there are more items available. Showing the scrollbar at all times is not desirable.

Has anyone implemented something similar to this? Or has anyone seen this documented anywhere?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Darren

Hi Darren,

Thank you for using Syncfusion products.

We have checked the reported query “Detection of hidden items in SfListView” from our side. We would like to inform you that the SfListView supports to load more items based on user preferences using LoadMore option. Please find the documentation regarding the same from the following link,

Thanks for the response. I will investigate this but I am not sure this will satisfy our reqiuirement. We are not looking to "load more" as everthing is loaded. We are simply looking to notofy the user of hidden items and then letting them intuitively scroll them into view.

Anyway, I will take a look at this option.

Regards,

Darren
