Essential Studio Installer Very Slow

I guess it going to download and install spending 3 days

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 

As per our records, you’ve downloaded both Syncfusion Essential Studio Offline installer “syncfusionessentialstudiosetup.zip” 3.8 GB zip file and also our web installer (3 MB) 

 
 
 
Syncfusion Essential Studio Offline installer 
 
Our Syncfusion Essential Studio Offline installer zip file includes all the Essential Suite components in it. It will not download anything. 
 
If you have selected all the platforms for installation from the installer UI, it will take around 2 hours for installation and installation time will be changed based on machine configuration and RAM size. 
 
If you need particular platform, you can select that platform alone from the installer UI for installation 
 
 
 
If you face any installation issues on this, please follow the steps suggested in the below KB article link and send us the zip file which consists of Syncfusion Installer logs generated by our tool. Also please share any screen shot of the issue you were facing. It would be much helpful for us to analyze the reported issue. 

 
Syncfusion Essential Studio Web installer 
 
Our 3 MB web installer setup will download and install all the Essential Suite components. If you are using this installer, then it will take time to download based on the available internet connection speed and will install the setup.  
 
Approximately it will take 3 to 4 hours based on download speed and RAM speed of the machine 
 
If you are facing download\installation issues with this web installer setup, kindly share the log files and screen shot as requested above. 
 
Also, as an additional information, we have separate offline installer for all the Essential Studio platforms. You can download and install corresponding platforms alone from our website, if you need.

Same Issue, 106 days later
Direct ISP (TPG) connection from Adelaide Australia will take 2.5 days to install, I assume other regionshave same issue

Workaround
Connect to location - 'USA - Washington DC' ( ExpressVPN )
Downloaded 3GB of'Essential Studio Installer' within 30 minutes ( acceptable )
Please Raise Ticket
VPN into 'Asia Pacific', 'Europe' regionsand check ifdownload speedsacceptable
PerhapsAWS Regional Cloud Server setting, maybe Caching better16,826 km away

Regarding your query, “VPN into 'Asia Pacific', 'Europe' regions and check if download speed is acceptable. Perhaps AWS Regional Cloud Server setting, maybe Caching better”  
 
We will check this in different VPN connection and will update for this before Feb 18th 2021.

Hi Peter, 

Thanks for your patience. 

We have checked Syncfusion web installer download and installation issue in the corresponding country ISP and we didn’t faced any issue in download or installation and it takes around 2 hours only for complete download and installation. 

Could you please check whether your machine have any other additional firewall\network settings enabled? Also check any other software like anti-virus is blocking the download\installation. Please share us the below details to check this from our end 

  1. Antivirus details if any installed
  2. Follow steps suggested in the below KB article link and send us the zip file which consists of Syncfusion Installer logs generated by our tool. It would be much helpful for us to analyze the reported issue. Please generate this in all four machines.
