Adding SFDataGrid to android project

Hi, I have a strange issue with my project, I am trying to add the SFDataGrid, I added the nuget project syncfusion.xamarin.sfdatagrid and syncfusion.xamarin.sfdatagrid.android

What is the namespace Syncfusion.SfDataGrid.XForms? Is this for android or a forms project?

If I remove the reference for it, I am not longer able to access the events QueryRowStyle andQueryCellStyle but the other events are still there likeCurrentCellBeginEdit

Thanks for using Syncfusion controls.  

We have checked your query. if you are using native Xamarin.Android project no need to install the Synfcfusion.Xamarin.SfDataGrid. Only you need to install the Syncfusion.Xamarin.DfDataGrid.Android nuget. And we don’t have support for QueryRowStyle  and QueryCellStyle event in Xamarin.Android but this is in Xamarin.Forms. So that the issue will arise. Please refer the following UG Link for more reference.

So there is currently no way to change cell colors, font, etc with the android sfdatagrid?

I know you can change it for the entire grid, but I am looking for just certain columns/cells.

We have checked your query. As of now we don’t support for “Customize the cell style”, we will consider this has feature request. We have already logged feature request for your requirement “Customize the cell style support” in Xamarin.Android and considered to implement. We will implement this feature in any of our upcoming release.
