Pivot Chart - Intercept chart export

Hello

I am exporting a pivot chart  like this:

this.PivotView.ChartExport("JPEG", "sample", "Landscape");

Is there any way to intercept this export and redirect to some sort of stream so that the chart can be written directly to a Word Document in memory (maybe using DocIO).  I would then export the word document containing the chart.

Many thanks

Hi Ditchford,

We have logged your requirement – “To Export the Pivot Chart in Word Document” as a feature task and it will be available in any one of our upcoming release. You can track the same by using the following link:

Hello

That's excellent, thank you. An export directly to word would be great.  Since that may be sometime before its available, I was looking at this:

This works  for me on a normal chart.  However on a PivotChart there appears to be no AfterExport event (only a BeforeExport).  Is there a way (like this) to intercept the existing export of a jpg, png or svg.  If I can intercept the export then I can get a pivot chart into word using DocIO.

Many thanks
