BatchEdit with sutofill - AllowEditing="false"

Question

Hi - With batchEdit I have a column where I have AllowEditing="false", and therefor I cannot edit cells in this column. I can though drag values from other calls into cells in a column where editing are set to false.

Is this a unfortunate feature or a bug?

I would expect that AllowEditing="false" would "lock" the values so they could never change?

We have confirmed it as a bug and logged the defect report “Cell is edited with column allowediting as false when using Autofill” for the same. Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping us improve our product. At Syncfusion, we are committed to fixing all validated defects (subject to technological feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle ) and including the defect fix in our upcoming bi-weekly release which is expected to be rolled by the mid of November, 2020.
