.Net 5.0 Support

Hi All,

Just wondering if you had an approximate timeframe for implementing .Net 5.0 support for all of the Blazor controls? Is it still November 2020 as per https://www.syncfusion.com/blogs/post/microsoft-net-5-a-jackpot-for-developers.aspx?

Due to the size of my database(s), I am hoping that an upgrade to 5.0 will alleviate some of the speed issues I'm facing (Blazor related, not Syncfusion).

Also, do the instructions for migrating a project, as detailed in the above link, still hold true?

Thanks in advance.

Simon

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for the reply.

I have recently upgraded to .Net 5.0 and, apart from a few issues with Visual Studio - have to use the "Preview" version, all of the Syncfusion components seem to be working fine.

Regards

Simon

Hello,

I have recently upgraded to .NET5 and started to get this exception "There is no tracked object with id '32'. Perhaps the DotNetObjectReference instance was already disposed." I am using 18.3.0.53 version.

Could you suggest what could be the reason?

Hi Ajay,

Greeting from Syncfusion.

Query: I have recently upgraded to .NET5 and started to get this exception "There is no tracked object with id '32'. Perhaps the DotNetObjectReference instance was already disposed." I am using 18.3.0.53 version.

We have validated your query and could you please ensure the problem after upgrading your Syncfusion NuGet package to latest version(19.1.0.69). If you are still facing the problem in latest version, then could you please share the below details. It will be helpful to validate and provide a better solution.

  • In which scenario you are facing this problem? At initial rendering or while editing the record?
  • Whether did you face the problem while navigating to another page?
  • Whether did you face the problem while double clicking the row?
  • Video demonstration of the problem.
  • Share a simple reproduceable sample if possible.

Regards,
Rahul
