Question about MultiSelect DropdownList...

Hello All,
I'm am using a MultiSelect DropDownList.  We started with the "Box" mode, as the client like the use of the "Chips" on the top.  Then they asked to make the DropDownList use checkboxes.  Ok, we can change the mode to "CheckBox" and get that...  But, that got rid of the "Chips'...  However, they want the CheckBox AND Chips...

Is there a way of getting the "Chips" functionality along with the "CheckBox" functionality???

Thanks in advance,

Hi Kevin,

Greetings from Syncfusion support.

We would like to inform you that, currently there is no support for displaying the selected item as a chip in the checkbox mode. So, we have prepared the custom sample to achieve the requested requirement and attached it below.

Hi,

Why this feature isn't officially supported? Is there any plan towards officially supporting it?

Hi Kevin Orcutt ,
If you would like to incorporate the chip functionality within the checkbox, We have already considered “Need to provide support to display the selected items as chips when using MultiSelect in checkbox mode” as a uncertain feature request from our end and logged the report for the same and the fix will be included with any of our upcoming releases.
You can now track the current status of the report, review the proposed resolution timeline, and contact us for any further inquiries through this link:
