SfSchedule takes a while to load and locks UI thread

Hello.
I am using an SfSchedule control to show an event list and I am trying to show a modal page with a loading indicator (that is a .gif).
The problem is that when the page is pushing, the gif animation stops. I tried creating a new Thread and then calling Device.BeginInvokeOnMainThread but the problem is that the UI gets locked so I can't get the gif to not stop its animation.

  • Share the View templates and view model class 
  • share the model class used in the project  
  • issue replication procedure

LoadingPopUp is just a PopupPage with a frame and a image with a gif.
Calendario is a tabbed page:


And each page in the tabbed page looks like this:


The result is like the gif you can see in the post.
