show all formatting

It would be really helpful to have a "Show all formatting" option similar to that in Word.

The editor is especially confusing when, for example, adding a break and then not knowing where that break is.  This is made even more confusing when inserting something like a section break.

I understand that this may be a difficult task but please give it due consideration.
