Is there a "How To" for the RangeSliderControl?

I'm trying to add a RangeSliderControl to my project but I'm struggling to work out how to use it.  I found the docs here but they're very dry and don't really explain it's usage.  I found a more friendly "How To" here but it's for the sfRangeSlider.  Is there a similar document for the RangeSliderControl.

Also, I'm not clear what the difference between those two controls is.  Did the sfRangeSlider come as part of a different package or something?

Hi Declan,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

Since our RangeSlider control is a classic control , so we have removed the topic from documentation. You can use our SfRangeSlider control , which is a advanced control of RangeSlider control. For more information, you can refer the following UG link:

I don't believe we currently have access to SfRangeSlider (I don't see it in my toolbox).  What package does it come in and would we have to buy it?

I can check with our Support team exactly what licences we currently have but I suspect they'd rather we continue to use the controls we already have rather than purchasing something new.  Is that possible?

Hi Declan,

Thank you for your update.

Query : I don't believe we currently have access to SfRangeSlider (I don't see it in my toolbox).  What package does it come in and would we have to buy it?

In order to access the SfRangeSlider, you need to use the assemblies such as SfInput.WPF and SfShared.WPF in your project. However for RangeSliderControl, you need to refer the Tools.wpf packages of Syncfusion.

You can refer these package from the following link:

You can use the RangeSliderControl , if you have installed with Syncfusion Essential build by searching it in ToolBox.

However since it is classic control, we suggest you to use our SfRangeSlider.

Please try this solution and let us know if it helps.

OK.  I've had a quick play with sfRangeSlider and it looks like what I'm after.  I just want to check before I approach our purchasing dept, is the $995 option shown here going to cover it if all I want it for is WPF development?  I just want to make sure we'd be purchasing the right thing.
