Search not working

Question

I cannot get search to work any which way. I have tried the simplest example from the docs by just adding the "Search" toolbar item and that does not do anything. Here is my code I had to create a custom toolbar, because I couldn't even get custom toolbar buttons to work.

I basically have a custom SfTextBox hooked to the @onkeyup event and then I call Search() on the grid. It does not work and nothing happens.

We have confirmed it is a bug and logged the defect report “Performing search using Search method not works when set Operator in GridSearchSettings and have enum value” for the same. Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping us improve our product. At Syncfusion, we are committed to fixing all validated defects (subject to technological feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle ) and including the defect fix in our upcoming Patch release which is expected to be rolled out by the mid of August, 2020.
