MULTIPLE CONTROLS: Dynamically switching from Dark to Light Theme for multiple controls.

Good morning/afternoon/evening,
I have an issue with switching between Light and Dark Themes when using the new App_Theme feature in Xamarin Forms.

I have attempted several steps and the possible results are usually any of the itemized states below:
  1. I can successfully switch from Dark to Light Mode and all Syncfusion controls switch between modes. However, I can't apply a style to change specific colors or font families of any of the controls in use. I am making use of your Essentials UI Kit (Bottom tabbed page) and a SfSchedule.
  2. I can apply specific styles to change the colors or font of the controls as I please but when switching from Dark to Light modes and vice versa, All syncfusion controls remain in the Theme(Mode) the started with when the App loaded.

Also the Left and Right swiping functionality breaks in all versions of Xamarin Forms iOS >= 4.7

We checked your query "Dynamically switching for several controls from Dark to Light Theme." When we deploy the sample on android and iOS platform, we get the xaml parse exception. Please find the screen shot from the below link, 
 
 
Did you face this type of exception? Please provide the sample in runnable state, it will help us to provide the better solutions to you. Please let us know if you have any concern.

Query 1: Dynamically switching for several controls from Dark to Light Theme 
We have checked your query and we suspect that your application uses custom theme. When you use the custom theme instead of the Syncfusion theme, the custom theme will apply in the application and the Syncfusion theme does not apply it would be an expected behavior. 
 
Please refer our UG document to know more about theming in SfSchedule,  
 
Query 2; Left and Right swiping functionality breaks in all versions of Xamarin Forms iOS 
We have checked the reported query “SfListView Swiping breaking with Xamarin.Forms version 4.7 in iOS” from our end and we have already faced this issue in SfListView. On further analysis, we would like to inform you that the reported issue is a break from Xamarin.Forms version 4.7. Also, the reported issue has been resolved in the latest Xamarin.Forms version 4.7.0.1142.

Hi Muniappan 

I am aware of what you are saying and I have looked extensively at the links and other related links you provided. However, I can not seem to use specific colors when I am switching between dark or light modes with out using a custom theme. Is Syncfusion's Essential UI Kit for Xamarin looking into supporting Dark Mode?

Currently not, we are working on that and it will be available in the mid of August 2020.

We would like to let you know that Essential UIKit  is in final review for having a plan to include more features like UI Kit sample browser architecture changes along with its dark theme support.  For this reviewing stage, we have planned to be rolled out this release by end of September 2020 without having any further delays.

Still having some more pending on addressing the required features and in the testing process, hence we have planned to be rolled out this Essential UIKit release by end of October 2020 without getting furthermore delays.
