Search feature does not work & highlighting is wrong

Hi, I've two problems with the viewer:
1) Search feature does not count all the occurrences of a string (e.g.: "Melazzini" 4 instead of 9, "Rondoni" 1 instead of 2)
2) It does not highlight correctly the word (screen included in zip files)

Please find the below details, 
  1. Search feature does not count all the occurrences of a string (e.g.: "Melazzini" 4 instead of 9, "Rondoni" 1 instead of 2)
We were able to reproduce the issue, “Search occurrence count is not proper while performing search operation in a particular PDF document”. Currently, we are validating the issue and we will update the further details on July 13th , 2020. 
 
  1. It does not highlight correctly the word (screen included in zip files
We have tried to reproduce the issue, “Text is not highlighted properly”, but its working as expected. 
 
Please find the sample in the below link, with which we have tried to reproduce the issue 
 
 
Kindly share the following details to analyze more on this issue and assist you with the better solution   
  1. Simple sample/ modify the above sample to reproduce the issue. 
  2. Replication video/procedure to reproduce the issue.
  3. Platform
  4. Device specification.

Hi Davide,
 

We have confirmed that the issue “Search occurrence count is nor proper while performing search operation in a particular PDF document” is a defect and logged a defect report for this issue. The patch for this issue will be delivered on August 3rd , 2020.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused,       
  
We haven’t resolved the issue with “Search occurrence count is not proper while performing search operation in a particular PDF document” due to its complexity. Currently we are working in this with high priority, we will update the patch on August 10th , 2020 without any further delay.   
  
 
Kindly provide the requested details to reproduce the issue, “Text is not highlighted properly” in our end.

The issue with “Search occurrence count is nor proper while performing search operation in a particular PDF document” has been fixed and the custom NuGet for this fix can be downloaded from the following location.

Note: Kindly follow the steps to clear the NuGet cache and then install patched NuGet to get the issue resolved.    
     

This fix will be included in our 2020 Volume 3 Main Release which will be available in September 2020.
