Richtext (RTE) on iPad

Hi - I know it‘s a preview version - nut f.y.i. It ist not possible to edit text (in a popup) on the iPad. It will close immediatelly

We have validated your query and tried to reproduce the issue “Rich Text Editor type of In-place editor is not working in iPad”. 

• Rendered In-place editor with Rich Text Editor
• Enabled popup mode in In-place Editor
• Ensured with Chrome and Safari browser in iPad devices

 

We are able to reproduce the issue with the Safari browser in iPad devices. But it is not reproduced with the Chrome browser. We have considered the issue as a defect from our end and logged the report for the same and the fix will be included with weekly release which is scheduled on 2nd week of July.

We have further validated your reported issue “Rich Text Editor type of In-place editor is not working in iPad”, and the issue is now not reproduced in the latest version 18.4.0.48. 

 

As we had major changes from version 18.4.30, so please check the below release notes for reference,

Can you please upgrade your package to the latest version 18.4.0.48 and ensure the issue on your end?
