BackStage View Click Nothing happen

Hi Support

I used Ribbon .Style Office 2016, i already set BackStageView,

But after RunApps, I Click on BackStageView, Nothing Happened

We have analysed the reported query "While click the BackStageView nothing happened with Offfice2016 style". But we are unable to reproduce at our end.

We suggest, you to upgrading our latest syncfusion version and confirm whether the reported query is still occurs?

Guys,

I have the same problem. I am using VS2019, SF Community version 18.3.0.35.

When creating a Winform project using the 

• SF project template, selecting NET Framework 4.6, with installed locations assemblies.
• Remove the default Form1 from project.
• Add Syncfusion Item, Ribbonform  (from installed location)
• Add RibbonControlAdv
• Add BackStageView, Show it.
• Add Tabs, buttons
• Build/Run the app
• When I click, nothing happens.
• The "File" name for the officebutton does not even appear.
• If manually select a name for the button then it displays.

Attached there is the sample project.

Please advise,

Query : Backstage is not shown in Ribbon on clicking it. 

 

We have checked the reported behavior that Backstage is not open on clicking with your sample and found that in your sample, you have not assign the Backstageview to Ribbon’s BackstageView property , so only the Backstage is not shown. Now we have modified your sample with the following code:

Query : The "File" name for the officebutton does not even appear . 

In your sample, you have using RibbonStyle as TouchStyle. In this style only the arrow will be shown and the text will not be visible. However this works for other RibbonStyles.
