Load data on the scroll

Hello, I would like to know if there is an event that fires when I reach the end (beginning) of the messages so that I can load more messages.

The idea is to bring a limited number of messages from the database and as the user scrolls through the messages, new messages are requested from the database.

I'm waiting, thanks.

Hi Rodrigo,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

We have checked your requirement “Nonfiction to load new set of messages when SfChat control scrolling reaches its end or start in Xamarin forms.” Currently, we don’t have support to achieve this requirement and we already logged two feature request and we can achieve your requirement in both the feature.

Feature Request 1: Support to load the messages on demand

We have planned to provide this support in our upcoming 2020 volume 2 main release which is expected to be available by 1st week of July 2020. We will let you know, once it is available. We appreciate your patience until then.

If you have any more specification/suggestions to the feature request, you can add it as a comment in the portal and cast your vote to make it count.

Feature Request 2: Event support to notify that SfChat scrolling reaches its bottom or start

We will implement this feature in any of our upcoming release.

If you have any more specification/suggestions to the feature request, you can add it as a comment in the portal and cast your vote to make it count.
