Can  prevent the stamp annotation from being resized and only moved by the user

At present, there is no support to restrict the resizing option and to use the moving option together for Stamp Annotation. Could you please explain elaborately about your use case scenario?. It will be useful for us to investigate further on this and assist you with a better solution at the earliest.

Thank for your reply, We want the user only move stamp to define the position of current page when reading the documents.

Based on your last update, we suspect that you would like to move the stamp Annotation with out affecting its aspect ratio so that you can read the content of the PDF document. 

 

If our understanding is different from your requirement, could you please explain elaborately about your requirement? It will be useful for us to investigate further on this and assist you with a better solution at the earliest. 

 

And could you please explain your use case of restricting the resizing option in Stamp Annotation?.

I have a similar need.  I want the user to be able to add a Flag icon to various places in a document.  This is a 32x32 image.  The user selects the button to add the Flag (stamp annotation) and then must drag it to the place where they want it to be.  I don't want the user to be able to resize the image.  Since the image is small, it is sometimes tricky to drag the image versus resize it.

Based on your last update, we suspect that you are facing difficulty in moving the stamp Annotation without interacting the selection bubble, provided that stamp Annotation is small in size. If this is problem your are facing, we will provide support to customize the size of selection bubble of Stamp Annotation, so that you can move the stamp Annotation without interacting the selection bubble. 

 

Kindly confirm whether if the above mentioned support is okay for you, we will provide feedback link for this feature.

Yes, increasing the size of the selection bubble will help  I still want to limit the user from resizing.

As mentioned earlier, currently we do not have support to restrict the resizing of annotations while allowing other interactions such as selecting, moving and deleting. We do not have any immediate plans to implement this feature. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest.      

       

Based on our present commitments and the above parameters, this feature is expected to be implemented in our 2021 Volume 1 Main release. We will let you know when this feature is implemented.
