GridCommandColumn triggers submit

I have a grid inside an <EditForm>, when I click a GridCommandColumn Delete button it triggers a Form Validation, to prevent this in a normal SFButton you set the Type to "Button" but there is no such option whith GridCommandColumn.

Any ideas?

We have considered this as a feature improvement and logged an improvement task  “Provide option to set type for the commandcolumn buttons” for this requirement. We have planned to implement this and include this feature improvement in any of our upcoming releases.
